Daybook, September 26, 2011

                                                                        Link up!
Outside my window...
It is misty, damp and gray.
I am thinking...
I wish I could just curl up in a chair and read instead of doing school today.
I am thankful...
For my uncountable blessings.

In the kitchen...
My beloved cleaned it for me last night, he knows how much I love that.
I will be putting Cowboy Country Stew in the crockpot shortly, it is a new family favorite.

I am wearing...
Jeans and a t-shirt and I'm contemplating grabbing a sweater.

I am creating...
Fingerless gloves on my knitting needles.

I am going...
Nowhere today, just the way I like it.

I am reading...
Across the Universe by Beth Revis for fun.
Known and Unknown by Donald Rumsfeld for information.
The First World War by Hew Strachan for school.

I am hoping...
My head-cold doesn't get any worse, I am too busy to be sick.

I am looking forward to...
Seeing family this weekend when we bring Rowan back to Old Sturbridge Village for more of her internship.

I am hearing...
My husband collecting things for the day in the basement, the chickens chortling quietly to themselves out back and crickets humming incessantly.
Around the house...
All is quiet, the cats are napping after breakfast, the kids aren't up quite yet and the smell of coffee is no doubt permeating the kitchen, but I can't smell it with my cold.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Pick up some more school materials at the library.
Go to Shakespeare Class on Wednesday.
Make more freezer meals to bring to my brother in law this weekend.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
Dawn at our campsite.
