Rowan came down with a rotten cold so I don't get to get rid of my kids tonight like I had planned. They were both supposed to go to a friend's for the night leaving Elaine and I free to watch a marathon of Buffy or Firefly. Sadly, we were pretty pumped about it. Not kid friendly shows, either of them really but the rest of the household loves them.
Joss Whedon rules. Period. Browncoats Forever!!
4 days left until Mike comes home. We really miss him at this point, which is why I tried to plan some fun for the girls this weekend.
A friend showed up with more wood almost literally as I put the last few logs we had into the stove, that was awesome. It is seasoned but wet and needs to be cut and split.
Thanks so much to all of you who have been praying for us and the team in Sierra Leone, your prayers and "check ins" have meant the world to us and we are grateful.
I have a huge pot of turkey soup on the stove, feel free to come on over and have some!
